Wasnt exactly absent

I ended up going to school. My friend and i didnt get to go out. That made me upset. I checked in during 4th period (we have 6 periods at my school.) Went home and got ready. Asked my mom when we'd be leaving and she said that we weren't go at all. That made me mad, because i believe Thursday was the band's Christmas concert and my friend is in the band, so i wanted to go to the concert to support her. My mom said no because it was on such short notice (even though that was the schools fault since they never properly notify anyone about ANYTHING.) My mom made the deal that we'd go out on monday, because thats when another school event was happening. She said she'd take my friend and i out for an early dinner, then we'd go to the event and get to hang out together. 

Because i woke up in such bad pain (see previous blog post), my mom said that she said she told me we weren't going to the event, and that if i was in bad pain then i wasnt going anywhere. I ended up feeling better so i requested to go to school. She took me. I checked in. I told mu friend, when i crossed her in the halls, that my mom should pick us up. Thats why when i got home i asked when we'd be picking her up. 

I thought that because i ended up going to school even after i felt better, that she'd let us go to the event. Apparently not. She said it was a "motherly choice" and that i shouldnt be going anywhere if i was in pain, yet she allowed me to go to school. I was already feeling better. I explained that logic to her, but she wouldn't listen to basic human knowledge and smarts.

But we negotiated. She said that my friend can come over this weekend. Like, ride the bus home with me friday.
