I Love Ska (and I'm failing Algebra 2)

A lot of people like prefacing conversations about ska music with "ska is dead", which kinda sucks, but I'd like to think the good parts of it are still thriving. Like, the whole "I don't care if other people think I'm cool or not" fun general vibe, and supporting community are still there if you look hard enough, I guess. I'm into a lot of varied music genres, personally I really enjoy classic metal and rock, but I think ska music is just such a special genre in its own. There's just something so great about grown ass people skanking to goofy trumpet music; there's almost a sense of community in it. My Fury of the Aquabats! CD is coming in the mail sometime this week, so I'll be able to listen to that album more! My school confiscates phones but not CD Walkmans so.. that's how I gotta listen. But more ska music has never done anybody any wrong. It'll give my other CDs a rest, I think my Strong Bad Sings CD has lived in my Discman since I got it like 4 months ago. 

On a different topic, I am really struggling with my math classes, and the teacher is not explaining it any better. That's what happens when you take honors classes, the teacher just refuses to teach you and instead gives you a mountain of homework. I don't mind it I guess, as a straight A student I know I'll scrape by with an A last minute, but right now I'm LOST lol. In my teacher's defense, I really just don't like studying at all.
