cool day!

i went back to the apple store today to try and resolve the icloud issue that i came across while trying to backup all my photos from my "corrupt" phone (the previous apple attendant we talked with yesterday had told us there was nothing to do but wipe the phone after backing up the pictures), and it turns out that all we needed to do was give an hour of time to RE-update the phone and its literally back to normal.... so glad we didnt listen to that first lady bc all my app data is still completely intact, including my old twitter and discord app!! and ofc all my passwords and photos and search history are all still there as well!! a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders bc ive been worrying abt this literally all week. im so lucky to have 0 data loss omg. after we got done with the process of saving my phone, me and my mom looked around the store since we dont come here very often. i saw the new iphone 15 in the cutest most prettiest baby pink color and ik this will DEFINITELY be my next phone whenever i eventually upgrade! :3 

afterwards me and my mom had some time to kill before heading home to do christmas festivities, and since we dont hang out in this area much (since its like full of super pretentious upper class type ppl), we decided to go to this nice grocery store across the street to grab some lunch. while i was otw to this nicer hen house, my mom tells me this is where TRAVIS KELCE was just a couple weeks before, and that she works in that store all the time!!!!!! i was shocked. i didnt realize travis was from this town specifically, and like.. its literally where taylor stays during her kc visits!!!! this is probably the closest ill ever get to taylor swift LOL.. its still so cool my area being one of her places she just casually stays in now! 

after eating we decided to wander around the store a bit and i saw something that reminded me ive been totally craving banana pudding lately! i convinced her to get the ingredients and we got to make it right when we got home! i didnt remember this well but my granny (on my dads side) has a tradition of making banana pudding during christmas time, so making it randomly today actually worked out. we had to call her a couple of times to make sure the recipe and steps that she had sent us were correct, and it ended up being really delicious! my dad said it tasted exactly like how his mom would make it :) i had to stop myself from eating half the pan :P

finally, me and the fam went to grab whataburger and drive around looking at ppls pretty christmas lights! and when we got home we watched candy cane lane, which was actually a cute little film!

random pic.. i finally whipped out my new phone case that came in last week and that in addition to going to apple and finally having access to my phone for the first time in over a week just psychologically made it feel like a new phone to me idkidk
