the past few months

i hope you've all been taking care and having a good time. i tend to forget about coming on here despite how much i enjoy writing posts.

so, over the past couple of months, i've been working my ass off at university, playing a lot of bass, going out partying, and just navigating my new life away from home. it's been really intense, if i'm honest. i've made some of the coolest friends ever and been able to get to know about so many new things. another super fun development is that i now have a boyfriend too.

i got to try fire spinning in mid-october and holy shit ! it was so fun ! like sure, i did burn some of my arm hair off but it was so worth it. i also got to go stay at another friend's flat and it was so cosy. her couch was comfier than my bed it was genuine bliss sleeping on it.

i also went to my first ever comedy show but it was like comedy through music cos tim minchin is cool like that. it was my boyfriend who invited me (we weren't dating yet but we may as well have been) so we got to go walk around in edinburgh and have a cute little hotel stay. it was honestly amazing.

before my birthday, i went back to go visit my family and friends at home and i also got my nose pierced ! it was pretty fun although going back very much reminds me why i left in the first place. it gets really miserable there and everything seems so bleak. it was nice to see everyone again though, especially my friends and neighbours.

my birthday is on halloween so i got to party into my birthday from the saturday, into the early hours of my birthday. what's even cooler is that daylight savings came around on my birthday so i got an extra hour of it ! after partying on the saturday, i had a cosy day in with my boyfriend for actual halloween and he got me the coolest gifts ever.

i've also been getting pretty decent grades in english and philosophy but i'm not quite doing so well in linguistics if i'm honest. it's okay though cos as long as i pass, it doesn't matter.

anyways, i've got a lot more plans coming up in future which i'll be telling you guys about in time. i'm super excited to go and live a little.
