Nazis and Islam

Hey Reader,

This week I will be discussing Hip-Hop, Nazis, and Islam. Like many my age, I grew up listening to Eminem, and still do on occasion. At the risk of sounding cliché, I prefer his older albums. One of his popular songs is “Kamikaze” from the album of the same name from 2018. In the first verse he has a line that goes:

“You beat me, Islamic Nazi, that means there is no such thing”

If you know anything about Nazis, Islam, or World War II, you know this line is asinine. In this email I’ll hope to explain on some level why.

First, what was Eminem trying to say? According to Rap Genius, “to outdo Eminem lyrically would be as absurd and oxymoronic as the notion of an ‘Islamic Nazi.’ This paradox is created by contrasting Islam and Nazism, the two being totally incompatible with one another—with the former being a worldwide religion, where charity and submission to God are cornerstones, and the latter being a political ideology characterized by white supremacy and genocide.”

Totally incompatible? Clearly Eminem and/or Rap Genius don’t know about Amin al-Husseini, a Palestinian Arab nationalist and Muslim leader in Mandatory Palestine, meeting with Adolf Hitler to discuss “destruction of the Jewish element residing in the Arab sphere under the protection of British power”.

Amin al-Husseini went on to become the most prominent Islamic collaborator with the Axis powers. He met Heinrich Himmler who is considered the main architect of the Holocaust. He also met with Joachim von Ribbentrop, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nazi Germany. Amin al-Husseini could have also met with Adolf Eichmann, an officer of the SS and lead organizer of the Holocaust. He also helped with recruiting Muslims to the Nazis SS division. He helped foment attacks against Jews living in the Holy Land, and there is lots of evidence he was aware of the Nazi’s “Final Solution”. Amin al-Hussein claimed he did not know the plans to eliminate the Jews from Europe, and anyone who said he did were Jews.

Hope you found this at least somewhat interesting, next week I’ll talk about Greta Thunberg and her cult of Gaia and the leftists who worship at her feet.

“The Hebrews have done more to civilize men than any other nation. If I were an atheist, and believed blind eternal fate, I should still believe that fate had ordained the Jews to be the most essential instrument for civilizing the nations.” ~John Adams

Best wishes,

Krieger
