bass week 1 :3

okay totally forgot i said i would do weekly updates till right now but hi guys. haii its me. okay so i honestly havent learnt much. spent my first week mostly just practicing my dexterity and plucking with various finger exercises. currently given up on trying to have decent fretting posture bcuz the way i do it doesnt hurt my hand AND lets me do ofpf half decently for a guy with tiny little baby hands so. ill take what i can get. mostly not bothering with ofpf though and just focusing on simandl and microshifting cause its not slowing me down at this point. yeah yeha i know i shouldnt get bad habits this early and should just skip making them but i cannot be bothered. im a little guy with little hands and i dont want to.

i can play through like two songs in time with the music with only minor difficulty. mostly bcuz im not a pick player and dont want to be but my arms are not yet used to my fingers moving so much within a three minute period and so they hurt like hell. i can play 21 guns and beware! cougar! which i only bothered learning bcuz i needed something with faster plucking to get used to that. i still like majorly suck but i CAN tune by ear now which is good. and i know my way around the fret board. as in i know what note each fret is. still trying to learn scales because my sight reading is totally out of practice cause its been like a year since i played anything with sheet music at all but im getting there. plus trying to play scales with my tiny baby hands isnt all that easy bcuz i simply cannot reach across four frets on most the fretboard.
