Project Sekai Ponytown Skins: Leo/need

Hi all!

I want to use this page for archiving and explaining my Ponytown skins and my process, since I don't really like deleting my old skins and never seeing them again. I like to see my improvement!!! 

Right now, I am working on making all of the project sekai original characters with their 3 year ann outfits!!!!!!! I have finished Leo/need, and I want to put my old Leo/Need skins in here as well before I delete them for space.

Sorry for the low-quality images/small images. I didn't want them to take up much space. But this is also my first post, so I don't even know if this looks good. ANYWAY. 

I really enjoyed translating Ichika's initial outfit into Ponytown. The high collar and the jacket on the waist is so fun :3 the third anniversary outfit is less unique, but I did find it fun to try and convey his open shirt with the blue trim. idk why i didnt add the little red armband on the old one but shrug. Also, yes, I change the skin tone I don't care what you think about it I won't stop. Putting my headcannons in my skins is like half the fun. After a while I stopped using really harsh highlights on the hair and instead replaced it with just different colors that looks good to me because I don't use the same harsh light anywhere else other than the mane. Typically, I use the same pattern for hair and the shading and just put different colors. Sometimes that pattern changes like it does in the tail here. I've also changed the way I shade the face and eyes. The face isn't that different, but I like it. :3

I think on saki's in particular the thing I most dislike on the old one is the shade of the pink. Two different shades of pink on the eyes and hair ?? nuh uh girlie. Sorry I'm autistic about colors. One of the things I go by is using the same colors as many times as possible in a design. Also, the hair in general looks so much better bcs ALSO look at the dark pink on the pigtails. DIFFERENT FUCKING COLOR... I was trying to display the pink on her pigtails while still doing my silly shading routine, but it just looks weird. AND THE STARKLY DIFFERENT YELLOW BETWEEN THE OUTFIT ON THE HAIR. Ik it's not the exact same on the new one but. it looks cohesive.

Honami's hair is hard to figure out on ponytown tbh. like we got an asymmetrical cut with bangs on one side AND a side ponytail. Look it up if you don't know it's silly. I hc Honami with vitiligo and heterochromia :3 It's also kind of hard to make vitiligo in Ponytown but I tried my best. It was hard to try and find what color I wanted for the mane highlight until I just picked the color from her blue eye :3 I will miss the different ways leo/need all wore their shirts different :( 

Shiho !!!!!!!!!!

tbh I HATED my old Shiho. I still kinda do el o el. ik I changed his hair with the newest cosmetic update, so I think there was different hair at some point, but it probably looked like shit. Also, the straight white and gray :/ nuhh uhhh girl. changing the hair color to lean in with Shiho's green was the best thing I could've done. I took the highlight color from Shizuku!! Since theyr related I thought it would be really cute. :3 and I've seen some hcs that Shiho dies his hair and artwork that shows his roots I LOVEE ITT :3333 I also added shorts for Shiho too !!!!!!

and thats Leo/Need !!!!!! Leo/need is my favorite unit so I got these done the fastest :3 I do not care if you inspo and I honestly dont care if you copy but I encourage you to do your own thing. If you copy just make sure I dont see you ever, lol. I have mmj done(ish) so when I feel like it ill make another post. I dont think I have old versions of mmj so it would just be the new ones!!!!!!!!!
