False attribution,
Cause when you say my name,
I still hear her!
Her voice with your still face,
I constantly swear to you that wanting isn't the case.
So when I call out,
And cry into the night,
The first person you call is her,
And you would be right,
Cause no matter how much I need you,
God knows I need her too.
So I incorrectly name her achievements,
When I want to brag about you,
Cause false attribution,
Makes me thinks that those were things that you do,
And love being oh so complicated,
Means my love for her is now what I consider my love for you.
So don't ever correct me!
Cause you know what's she's like,
And I know that you believe it,
Because I fall asleep to her voice at night.
One without the other is hell,
Because I need your physical presence,
So she'll talk me through it,
And you use your hands to keep me grounded.
