The plot of my novel (well, it's a work in progress)

Hello earthlings!! How are you doing?

So, the idea: A world where people can trade memories with one another. Since the beginning of existence. Obviously, something that in the first human societies was taken as an espiritual, even sacred practice, then was used as good for the market. To get the bag, let's say. The families that had the most valuable memories (for example, those who's ancestors are royals, or some particular figure that held memories that if outed could determine the resolution of big historical conflicts or questions) sold their memories around. And they got like hella rich. Then those who have mundane memories of unimportant people just meh, kinda survive. 

That's how, in the present (not our present, but some other variation of the present that was formed around the fact that our memories and the past is still very much relevant in our lifes, so those "older" traditions and behaviors stick around. Especifically in those old rich clans that sell their important memories.) there's a certain region where the most important clans live. You know, it's easier for bussiness. These clans all come from different cultures, as there's a bunch of important historical stuff that different country's hold. 

Here we get out main characters;

Shigeru (the second son of the Japanese clan leaders) Fun fact, his name means luxuriant. Tho he is a nervous reck and always looked down on cause his bigger sister seems much more capable and smart and everyone takes her more seriously as the next clan "leader". 

Sage (the only daughter of the... spanish Clan) Fun Fact, her name comes from the latin word "sagacitas" which means sagacity out of wisdom. Clearly, she has grown up with the preasure to be perfect. 

Clearly Shigeru doesn't likes her that much at first, cause surprise surprise, she reminds him of his sister. But then they grow to like eachother, don't worry. And no they don't fall in love later lmao

So, both their families get along quite okay, so they know eachother since little. Now is when the drama comes in. PUM, Shigeru's father gets murdered. The question is why, and by who? 

That's when they start working together. They want to investigate the murder. Shigeru thinks that if he solves it he can get revenge and even gain himself some respect. He want's the "spot" his sister has. And for now, we don't know Sage's intentions, as her clan doesn't seems to be related for now... (and no, it wasn't her Clan who killed papa Shigeru lmao, that would be very predictable) 

I won’t say much more than the fact that he was killed cause he had some memories in him that could take down our antagonist. And the black market of memories in involved. Lol. If we have billioners and important people, we need some corrupted underground ilegal system where they do their dirty work. 

And at some point (when them protagonists alredy trust eachother) Sage is blamed for the murder, so here we have tension and conflict, MUEJEJEJE (evil laugh's in Spanish)
