I personally have a few favorite creatures of mythology. I've always loved centaurs, especially since I used to compete in horseback riding. Griffins are another one of my favorites followed by the three-headed pup Cerberus. But, my favorite creature of mythology is hands-down the lycanthrope (or werewolf). However, the typical myths and stories that surrounded them didn't quite satisfy. Therefore, I wrote my own. My book is how I imagine creatures of mythology to really be - among us living in clever hiding or suppressed deep down waiting to be awakened. I used my book as a means to describe my best explanation for the inexplicable desires and attractions that we as people have. That strange yearning to dedicate your life to marine biology because deep down you're actually a creature of the sea yourself. A love and connection to snakes and serpents because your true self is really a gorgon.
Given this logic, what mythological creature would you be?
What is your favorite creature of mythology?

Big fan of mythological creatures myself. Been a huge fan of centaurs ever since I first saw them as a kid on Fantasia. Infact didn't see a centaur layout or else that would be what is on my profile for sure. Used to love watching the Xena & Hercules series. They had centaurs on there.
