★ The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue, by Mackenzi Lee★

★Quick summary★

A young Bisexual man named Henry Montague, or Monty, goes on a tour of Europe with his sister and his best friend. A friend who also happens to be the man he is in love with. Monty has never been a particularly well behaved young man, but his habits may be forcibly coming to an end, so Monty decides that he will make this last bit of his time uninterrupted with Percy as fun as he possibly can. But when one of Monty’s impulsive decisions turns a tour in Paris into a manhunt all across Europe, he has to take everything into perspective, and really evaluate everything, all the while narrowly avoiding his and his parties' untimely ends.

I absolutely loved the personality that was put into each and every character. Monty is fiery and very passionate about what he cares about. And it’s a wonderful sense of intensity. His relationship with the other characters is dynamic, and manages. There are a lot of references to darker topics, such as racism, classism, abuse, homophobia, sexism, and disabilities, which helps bring some seriousness into the plot, but it doesn't manage to bring our characters down.

★Overall Rating _/10★

I'd rate this a solid 10/10 personally. The writing was easy to digest and interesting enough to actually ponder over even after finishing the book. The serious undertone of the book helped balance the optimism from the characters, and this worked out surprisingly realistically for what happened.
