O, My Star (Constructive criticism appreciated :])

(This is my first poem in a whilee, so go easy on me, haha ^^;)

O, my star

How scattered you were

I wanted to put you back together

But you said "no"

Then why did you ask for my name?

O, my star

How you built yourself up from nothingness

You weren't afraid to say "no" to others

Yet you were so soft to me

Why was that? I might never understand now

O, my star,

How you shined so brightly

Everyone at school was talking about you

Yet you stayed by me

Why did say "no" to our friend? You two could've been happy

O, my star,

How you stood so tall

That bully, he was too intimidated to say "no" when you asked him to stop

Yet you could've just let me alone

Why did you always help me? Isn't that unfair?

O my star,

How you exploded so suddenly

My parents were wondering were you were

Yet they never got an answer

Why did you leave me all alone? Did you hate me?

O my star,

How you pulled everyone with you

The news people made an article about you

Yet I had no idea you felt that bad

Why didn't you tell me? I could've helped

So, my star,

Can I stay in your orbit a little longer?

...I already know the answer to that

But why not?

Well, it's too late for an answer, isn't it?
