A bit more emersion

I've been working on a multimedia ARG/art project for some time now, (which is what led me here! Thanks for being great spacehey!) and my search for glimpses at the internet of old led me to find something great... a modern day revival of the original AOL Instant Messenger, alongside yahoo chat and ICQ from the early 2000's! All you need to do the get it up and running is register your email and screen name on their website and now you are ready to get started!

The talented people at the pheonix project have managed to not only offer a full set of downloads for various versions of AIM and ICQ from throughout the years, but also host their own servers restoring them to their original functionality.

(I promise this isnt an ad or anything, I'm just super excited lol)

For anyone looking to experience this head to the link below and be sure to read the FAQ to learn how to connect to pheonix's servers. The most stable version I've found and the one I use personally is 5.0. Of course make sure to run their pheonix updater for the version you choose to get any patch files you may need,,, and don't forget to add me! I use the same name for discord, AIM, and here of course :3
