to those of u who like cutesy horror games or games with different endings (calling all my friends who like undertale, omori, needy streamer overload, little misfortune etc) these r some of my favorite games that are free to play on steam!! they aren't super long playtimes but they're good if you need something short and entertaining :3
1. at home alone final - but this cute pixel horror game tasks u and ur little character with the job of staying home alone. will u choose to stay home like a good child, or will u go stir up trouble in the outside world? the english translation is a little rough, but this was still an amazing game!!
2. have a nice dream - similar to the game above, in this game u are eager to escape ur cute little home, where everything is seemingly fine and happy. so why do u want to leave so bad, and who is stopping you? this game has a much shorter completion time (took me abt 30mins) but the ending was amazing and totally worth the download in my opinion.
3. doki doki lit club - very popular game that most of u have heard of, BUT if you haven't, you should absolutely play this cute dating sim gone-wrong. the game IS free on steam, with a plus+ version on sale for $15 i believe.
4. purrgatory - LOVEEE THIS GAME. u are in purrgatory. not purgatory, PURRRRR-gatory, like its cat themed :3 and u get to meet all these friends in purrgatory, and hopefully lead them to getting out! the hand drawn style of the game makes it one of my favs, 10/10 would recommend (i cried)

it's also an free horror rpg game on steam. i haven't played it yet but heard a lot of good things about it. maybe you'll like it too :)
