having mainly weaned off reddit and the smoldering crater formerly known as twitter, this style site is definitely something i'm gonna have to get used to to ensure it doesn't just stay a novelty. the app is alright, i dig the dedication to that skeuomorphic og iphone look. having a (somewhat, at least among more technically-inclined people) mainstream platform with such a prominent longform blogging feature like this might be useful as a more in-depth journaling tool, since there's no easy way or inclination to just write irony-ridden non sequiturial bullshit for the sake of likes or reposts. i eagerly await about 12 years from now when the current online advertising bubble has long since popped and this site becomes the new social media juggernaut, some nausicaa: valley of the wind shit
