Dragon Quest 4 is refreshing to play

I just recently modded my 3DS so I can finally play the Dragon Quest games that released on the DS. I am starting chronologically with Dragon Quest IV, which I heard has a killer story. After putting so many hours into Persona 5 with so many things to try to balance in that game with your time, it is refreshing to play a simple RPG with a narrow focus.
