im utterly head over heels and i feel pathetic

The guy I like, we're in the same friend group and he's nice, really nice. I like him, like a lot. I think he's reciprocating, but he hasn't outright said it so possibly I am wrong. I feel so stupid for liking him because we don't live near eachother, he lives in city and in a different province, I'm so far up north I'm not even IN a province.
