Why does media nowadays feel so dull and boring? (YAP WARNING)

Am I the only one who thinks that media is kinda boring now? I feel like ever since 2020 everything has been uninteresting in a way. Like on youtube, all the videos are following the same concept that the algorithm pushes on the creators. Atleast I find all the subjects boring too!
