thanksgiving from 1 natives perspective

[this was a bulletin. now it isnt]

i always think its funny how much my family loves thanksgiving. like we're all just like yeah they killed us but more importantly get a load of this DAMN BREAD.

so like personally i grew up not being particularly offended by the celebration of thanksgiving. like i always saw it as like. yeah they killed us about this holiday. but like. they were gonna kill us regardless. so. yeah whatever.

but also i totally understand why so many other natives are offended by it. and as ive gotten older ive gotten more frustrated.

now its like if youre a native who doesnt care about the origins of the holiday, whatever. but if youre a full blown anglo saxan and you dont care.... im side-eyeing you.
