England and it's rain!

At home, in Lisbon, it's a sunny day, and the next seven days there are predicted to be sunny and warm.

Here, In London, it has been raining. It is like Autumnal showers although it is feeling rather Wintry in fact.

If you have a holiday here, even in the summer, you have to be prepared for the weather. You can have a few hot days followed by a rainy day with hailstones very much possible. The weather is both unpredictable, and it would seriously surprise you in it's variation.

That said, the British are a mixed bag, some are very friendly and warm towards visitors, but they mostly don't live in London! Here you can find people rather intense, and selfish, always rushing around in their droves, like ants outside the ant hill. Be careful on the stairs down into the Tube, people can push past you even on there with no sense of the danger they put you in!

The sights though are quite imperial, and reflect the massive place the British have in world history, even though they occupy a small group of islands on the north western fringe of the European continent.
