I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love.

Bullets will always be my favourite mcr album.

within all the songs in the album I see myself. YES even romance, I love it.

Obv skylines and turnstiles is about 9/11 and im too young to even remember it, let alone be affected by it.. so maybe not so much that song BUT

I LOVE listening to the songs from this album and seeing the story and reading the lyrics, to me, no other mcr album compares.

Bullets to me is SO full of relatable emotion.

1, Honey, this mirror isn't big enough for the two of us. The lyrics TO ME sound like a break up song, just like the title. kind of like in a mirror, one person doesn't fit because theyre "not working out", which is another lyric. Gerard once said live that the song was about sucking dick for cocaine, so, i guess i was wrong on that one.

2,Vampires will never hurt you. One of my favourites from this album and songs in general. i LOVE vampires, i think theyre real and i wouldnt be shocked if you told me i had one in my ancestry. Everyone knows the only way to truly kill a vampire is to stake their heart, in the song the vampire ASKS you to stake him. I THINK the song ISNT about vampires, its most likely to do with Gerards addiction and suicidal thoughts. like he said in life on the murder scene, the songs mean something, they just use metaphors. also the whispering in the song is incredible.

3, Drowning lessons. Drowning lessons is the song i probably listen to the least from this album but i still love it with all my heart. Drowning lessons PERFECTLY captures the basement band sound. It sounds amazing. im looking at the lyrics now and wondering why i never payed attention to them more. "Without a sound, i took her down and dressed in red and blue i squeezed imaginary wedding gown that you can't wear in front of me" horrifically beautiful and i dont know why that is, i dont think enough about drowning lessons, clearly. ive heard of the drowning lessons curse though, that mcr removed it off the setlist for every show since technical difficulties occurs every time they played it.

4, Our lady of sorrows. FUCK. this song is good. so good. This song inspired one of my own stories. i also love mcr songs when Gerard sings about protecting or caring for people, its SO comforting like in Vampires "ill never let them hurt you" and in this song, "stand up fucking tall, dont let them see your back and take my fucking hand and never be afraid again" OH MY GOD YES GEE ILL TAKE YOUR HAND AND ILL NEVER BE AFRAID AGAIN. he knew what he was doing with those lyrics, hes helping and hes healing people, hes showing us hes with us, thats what its like for me anyway.

5, Headfirst for halos. Gerard says this song is the most important song on the album since it started out as a joke and they said if they can make that song work, theyve made it. how beautiful. its also SO fucking RREAAAAALLLL. "i cant begin to let you know just what im feeling. and now, the red ones make me fly and the blue ones help me fall and i think ill blow my brains against the ceiling" those lyrics i relate to SO much. Gerard has bee through things and as result he knows how to make music that speaks to people. I love this song sooo much ALSO it sounds like a christmas song to me but i dunno why.

6, Skylines and turnstiles. i dont have a lot to say about this song since everyone knows why it was made and what its about, no amount of perceiving lyrics in different ways will make it not about 9/11 and what Gerard decided for himself that day.

7, Early sunsets over monroeville. this was the first song on the album i fell IN LOVE with. i remember waking up and listening to it every single morning. it sounds like autumn and the main character sounds so happy recalling memories, yet the song still sounds so somber. when i first heard the song, i tried to relate it to my life like i do with every song. the lyrics "but does anyone notice? but does anyone care? and if i had the guts to put this to your head. but would anything matter if youre already dead?" live in my mind and swirl around with my thoughts every fucking day. not because of the song, because thats what i think, those were infecting my thoughts before i knew this song. I heard somewhere that this song is about two lovers, one was turned into a zombie and the other lover had to shoot them in the head, it makes sense but i haventseen Gerard say that so... you didnt hear that from me. "And theres no room in this hell, theres no room in the next. But does any one notice, theres a corpse in this bed?"

8, This is the best day ever. THIS SONG is so good!! i love it a lot. i can tell exactly why A splitting of the mind was inspired by it. the bacl up vocals are fucking PERFECT. "every hour, on the hour, they drew blood. well, i felt i couldnt take another day inside this place" i love those words so much. Gerard is a genius. i actually dont have a lot to say about this song. oops.

9, Cubicles. i dont know how to say it to make anyone realise just how much i LOVE this song. this is my favourite song on the album its just so fucking good, down to every lyric and instrumental. its PERFECT. I think this song is about a romance that blossomed in an office, that idea is so cute to me. also, the song is sad since the character sayd "i know you dont work here anymore, sometimes i think ill die alone" everyone can relate to this, missing someone and all the sorrow feelings that follow it. feeling that since its not them its no one. The song opens with "its the tearing sound of love-notes coming out these rusted windows and the view outside is sterile and im onl two cubes down, a photocopy all the things that we could be, if you took the time to notice me, but you cant now. i dont blame you and its not your fault that no one ever does" i love how Gerard shows the main characters romantic feelings in such a depressing place and turning everyday boring office place things into cute little gestures, if you can even call em, gestures. all of the song means SO much to e and im in love with the story behind it but the lyrics "but you dont work here anymore, its just a vacant three by four. and they might fill your place a temporary stand in for your face" you can just tell how much the character loves this person and how much it would hurt them to see their face being replaced or looked over, also there he goes again, incorperating language like "three by four" to talk about the cubicle the love interest works in for a LOVE SONG, amazing. i wonder if this character does this a lot, falls in love with a co-worker two cubes down, co-worker that never notices them because "no one ever does" and the lyrics "this happens al the time and i cant help but think ill die alone" if thos really IS common for them to fall in love within their depressing office space, and no one ever notices them, the next one wont or the one after that. they think theyll die alone.

10, demolition lovers. i love this song a lot. i love how its the last song before three cheers for sweet revenge which shows us more of the demolition lovers story. the opening sounds so dark and beautiful, the vocals are amazing and the lyrics are fucking amazing. gerard knows how to write a love song. if "id end my days with you in a hail of bullets of bullets" isnt the most romatic thing ive ever heard?!?!?! also the part in the song where the instruments kinda changes and gerard says "and i would drive on to the end wit you" sounds so perfect and kinda transports me into the demolition lovers world. i can tell with cubicles and this song too EXACTLY the feeling its trying to give off. mcr has always been god at that.
