What CAN we do for the situation in Gaza?

THIS WEBSITE has information on the conflict in Gaza and what others can do in order to help. Go to the TAKE ACTION tab and just follow the steps. Under the call to action to CALL FOR GAZA, there additional calls to action that already have prewritten emails that you can send to your senators/reps all you need to do is plug in the information and press send.

I just went down the line and clicked through each call to action. It took very little time and effort.

calls don't always feel like they are productive however, since the outrage of the people started getting louder, some politicians have had to walked back previous statements.

There is also a resource that is an app that is called 5CALLS and you can find it in the google play store. Essentially what it does is keep up with humanitarian campaigns that need loud vocal support, it keeps them organized and logs what you have already called abt and whether or not you were sent to voicemail, got to speak to a person, or ignored.

Personally I like the script provided by the USCPR website much more, I feel it is more powerful and specific. But i really like how this app is set up and i'm probably going to keep it on my phone from now on.

I also found this script and i think it is good. It focuses more so on opposing bidens request for funds and the fact that we don't want to vote for people who support genocide anymore.

you can say what you want. the important thing is that you are making your voice heard.

Tell them you will never vote for biden again because of his pro-israel stance, (or vote for anyone who supports genocide) and demand they hold a democratic primary so a more viable candidate can run against the republican party in 2024.

know that it is usually a person who will answer and these people have been hanging up the phone! (very professional).... people have been talking about this online too, sometimes they answer with a low mumbly "white house" or they say nothing at all then hang up, or you get voicemail.
it's gonna piss you off, hold on to that. call again, leave a voicemail.

remember there is strength in numbers.

this is where I feel like I lose people because it's hard to shop when Amerikkka is just like 6 companies in a trench coat and it is almost impossible to avoid them

but anyway,

TARGETED boycotts are what people have landed on for a solution.

online on tiktok I saw that many people have decided to do a a targeted boycott on disney, mcdonalds, and starbucks. which i think is easy enough and if were all doing it together at the same time we might get results.
