So, I tried to follow a guide, and me being a dummy has messed up way too many times to count. So I give up on it. I wish there was a way for someone(like a dumbass a.k.a. me) to be able to customize a web without needing to do some much on it. I wish it was as easy on here, I'm able to change things very easily and customize my profile.
I am planning to take web design but that isn't until next year. I don't know how people do this lol
Also it doesn't help I'm working on a laptop as I don't have a PC and I don't think my father would want me to use his at all聽

here are some resources for you!!
w3schools functions as a reference and offers free lessons
freecodecampalso offers free lessons
codepip uses games to teach you how to code
Mozilla, the people who made the firefox browser, havea reference guide for all kinds of aspects of web development! though i recommend checking this one out last since it could come off as a bit overwhelming if you're just starting out.
Ohh, alright, thank you so much!! :]

also you shouldn't have a problem with HTML coding on a laptop as long as it's not a Chromebook - afaik every laptop running windows or macOS have some basic text editor unless it's a Chromebook, and that's all you really need to get started! <3

Icelogist!
HTML and CSS are actually pretty easy languages, you don't need to take classes to learn it. I've been using that for years and have the core concepts already nailed down. I know a bit of js but I'm not really good at that. I would recommend doing a quick sketch of your web page layout before making it.
Correction: I've been using those for years without ever meeting a single teacher about it.
