Y do people care so much??

Hi idk y but I felt like writing something a bit ranty

But I feel like lately I’ve noticed a lot of online debates that r literally so dumb/ppl being mean for no reason (obvs online arguments have been around forever I’ve just personally been seeing them more)

For example, neos/xenos

Like

Who cares.

I have never met any1 who uses those pronouns anywhere other than online, ppl who do use them irl r very rare. At least from what I’ve seen

Usually those genders and pronouns r used by autistic/nd people to help them express their feelings regarding gender n stuff

Another thing is just gay ppl in general existing

Ppl r soooo fucking rude to people who just EXIST

Or other religions existing. I see SOO many Muslims, Jews, Pagans, etc getting thrashed by others for their beliefs

Or just in general, many people r rude to others who just act like themselves. You think they’re cringe? You CAN think that way! Judgement is a natural human thing. BUT KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!! Stop being evil to people who are just confident to be themselves. It annoys the fuck out of me

Anyway, I’m done

But basically stop being fucking mean to people when they’re not doing any harm! So sick and tired 😋👍

I agree, it's stupid and we should just accept people different to us. The reason why people are so against the lgbt and other religions is because they don't see it like us, we see people trying to exist as their true selves but the alt right sees a threat to their straight, white existence. Most people often the alt right manage to recruit younger teenagers by ostracizing anyone different to them, recently, the trans community has been their biggest target and trans people are essentially being used as scape goats which is when you create a common enemy to blame everything on in order to create a sense of unity. For a gross exaggeration, it's like getting your friends together to trash on a movie you don't like but to a much greater degree. Right wing politicians create the illusion that all the problems that people have with country could be solved with the eradication of a certain group, namely the lgbt. America has too many shootings, so they say that all the shooters are lgbt, women are subject to sexual assault, so blame trans people. This makes it look like an easy fix even though the lgbt and shooters or whatever other label the right gives us aren't correlated at all. As for why people don't accept other religions, that's because it's always viewed as an attack on Christianity, I am Christian and have met many people who believe that the religion is constantly under attack, even people who aren’t Christian think so. I'd recommend watching "The War on Christmas" by Hbomberguy on youtube for more info. Another reason why the right attacks other religions is because the right has nazi beliefs. It's counterproductive to think every right winger is a nazi but every right winger, intentionally or unintentionally, does support nazi beliefs. I'd recommend watching the Contrapoints video on decrypting the alt right and recognizing a fascist to learn how the right recruits people who aren’t very politically inclined. It's useful a very useful video, my teacher was actually a fascist and I didn't realize it until watching that video. Of course take what leftist you tubers say with a grain of salt and form your own nuances and do your own research on leftism but use leftist youtube or breadtube as a jumping off point.

Hope this helps and sorry for the long message, it's just good to be informed on their tactics because as socially progressive leaning people, these issues aren't just politics to us, these are human rights so naturally we act more emotionally rather than the right who sees it solely as politics and can act more logically when approaching these issues.
