i want to preface this by saying 1: this is my opinion. i am open to civil discussion but any harrasment will be reported/deleted. 2: i do not support harrassing anyone. it will accomplish nothing but your account being banned
transgenderism stems from the separation of sex and gender as constructs, sex being a biological trait of xx/xy chromosomes, which varies person to person- gender is a purely social concept stemming from traditional roles associated with sex throughout history. each person's experience with gender is different, and every person has their own definition of their personal gender. gender also often overlaps with other parts of our experience, such as race.
transphobes, especially TERF and gender-critical people, love to bring up the equation of transgenderism to transableism and RCTA, and these are my personal opinions on why these two things are vastly different.
Starting with RCTA ("Race Change To Another"). RCTA people believe that they will one day be able to achieve their desired race through "manifestation", makeup and surgery. race, like gender, is a social construct. unlike gender, though, race does contain a certain biological/physical component. race is purely the combination of two things- physical traits passed down through generations (people in similar geographical areas of the world would interact with each other far more often than those in differing areas, causing future generations to have similar traits, until almost a biological monoculture? is formed. for example- historically there has been much contact between north asians and inuit peoples/alaskan natives, which is why people of the two races tend to bare similar physical characteristics like a monolid, certain nose structures or dark hair and eyes) and historically enforced racial stereotypes.
in my opinion, RCTA stems purely from a persons insecurities as well as misconceptions about a certain race (usually these misconceptions stem from the normalization of fetishes), whereas transgenderism stems from genuine disconnect with certain roles/traits forced upon you by society.
as for transableism- it does not exist. the story most people cite for examples of "trans-abled people" is of a woman spreading awareness for a very real mental condition she suffers from and the medical malpractice surrounding it. (i am very sorry- i cant remember the name of it! if anyone knows, please tell me.) the condition causes a person to become convinced that a certain body part is foreign and does not belong on their body. often, the person will have urges to remove the body part forcefully. the "transabled" woman became blind after her doctor encouraged her to act on these thoughts, and (iirc) blinded her. she now strives to spread awareness so that more people dont end up hurt.
