... and stop clogging up the top blogs! it's annoying as hell. please think of other spacehey users who just want to have fun on here and look up cool stuff. Stop shooting controversial posts to the top of the feed with all your arguments. And then also stop shooting up posts made after those controversial statements crying victim to hate mobs. Get that shit out of my sight.

unfortunately i commented on one before realizing how this site's blog function works, but you're totally right. it's pretty pathetic how folks online will prioritize engagement over the feelings & wellbeing of others.
i don't know that queer discourse sullying online spaces will ever be a thing of the past, but i hope so. there's infinite better things to do than police people's identities.

agree but idk if that's gonna happen. people like spacehey because it's less censored so they will use it to vent their suppressed anger for queer people. and people seem to forget the block button, so instead of blocking them, they'll comment or write a blog post, thus raising those opinion blogs.
it's definitely not going to happen unless there's more moderation on this site, which is an ongoing issue. Best we can do is simply block, ignore, then it'll sink back into obscurity.
