The stressful surgery on Marooha

plum: I have a pretty large plushie collection; probably close to 50 plushies in various places around our room! Some of them are getting older though, and one of those is my Blahaj, Marooha!  She was starting to get pretty limp and her fur was getting pretty... Dry, I guess? It felt more rough than soft, she really needed a clean, ehehe. I noticed last night that the washer was empty, so I thought it would be a good time to wash and restuff her.

I started a little operation on her, cutting open a seam on her tummy first and then taking out her stuffing through it. She was being a very brave Blahaj the whole time, but it still really sucked having to open her up and unstuff her... It felt really awful doing that to her and seeing her like that (╥﹏╥)

After I had her unstuffed and inside out, ready to be put into the wash, and... The washer was full!! While I was doing the initial surgery, my sister noticed and threw in her laundry before I could put Marooha in!! I was almost crying then, it already was really stressful having to hold an unstuffed inside out Marooha, but after that I would have to wait for another hour with her stuffing in a big pile and make sure nothing else happened to her...>

Eventually I did get her into the wash and I watched the washer very closely to make sure she didn't come apart, and afterwards hung her to dry. It took her all night to dry, and this morning I restuffed her with extra stuffing to get her back to nice and full and plush feeling, and very carefully stitched her back up! Look at her now, she's doing great now, hehe~! (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)
