Sun
You my love, are the light to my storm
Those are the words that should have been said
But not what was told
Once I gave up on them
They surely soon got old
Like the Sun and the Moon
We are nothing alike
You shine in greath height
While I am my own gloom
No one would imagine it
Not even those who did
For your love knows no bounds
And mine only doubts
Climb up your hill
Never loose your thrill
Leave me here
Again we will never meet
Even so, I know
That even in my darkest night
You will be the sunset that brings me light
Context: I wrote this to a "friend" who I compared to a sunset and decided to write a poem, and no, I was not into him. I just write romantic things to people because I feel like it, is it bad? I hope not.
