☆ I'd like to study religion more in my free time, and it is particularly the reason why I'm agnostic. I find religion and its ideas interesting and respectable, even if it's the lack thereof. Religion, philosophy, past experiences, morals and values, and all of those things adding up to how a single person thinks? To me it's like finding the basis of how they perceive and interact with the world. I can't tell if I sound pretentious right now and I'm hoping not. I just really like that stuff. That would be another one though.

☆ Sometimes I can't tell if I'm being pretentious. Tell me if I am, or if I'm mansplaining. Usually I can catch it. I'm sort of purposefully not holding back in this blog stuff though.

☆ I don't know if people can tell but I am enthusiastic about large discussions or even debates. I may post paragraphs upon paragraphs in response to a bulletin or blog about a silly idea or one-off opinion just because exploring those things is super fun for me. If you don't like it you are free to tell me, "shut up you're being an ass," or something along those lines, it won't offend me at all. In fact I love open communication to ensure that everyone is comfortable.

☆ ask me about random bullshit and i will lose my mind and talk for hours until we're off-topic by the end of the conversation. I also love to listen.

☆ I go by Alex or Clyde, but call me anything you want with any pronouns you feel. I truly don't mind. I accept names based on how certain people or groups feel about me, so if you feel a way about me that cannot be described... name me!

FUN FACTS:

- The little pixel art icons on the home page (from icons archive)? They all mean something to me. Some are simpler, like the KISS ones or the cowboy boots. But others aren't so blatant. I think it's a fun idea.

- my favorite cookies are white chocolate macademia and oatmeal raisin.

- i currently live and sleep on a futon in the corner of my aunt's living room. moving out by the end of the month. (as of november 2023)  Oh, hey! I fucking moved out! Privacy after two years of none is insane.

- Quentin Coldwater of the Magicians series got me into doing card tricks, and now for the past seven years I have kept a deck of cards in my bag and use it regularly when I go out. It was mostly for gambling and little games but I was quite close to running an underground poker scene in highschool.

- i love planes. i literally went on a three hour plane ride (feb 2024) and i fucking BLUSHED at takeoff. for some reason thinking about planes makes me FLUSH. something is wrong with me. (reading this back, july 2025... nothing has changed. i am sick in the head. at least i don't want to marry a plane. that is definitely something.)

- love physics too, I took AP Physics back in high school but I failed the class because I skipped the final exam like the rebellious teenager I was. This is why I'm a nursing student and not an engineering one.
