You can't solve hate with hate

This is obviously in reference to a specific blog: https://blog.spacehey.com/entry?id=782523
Now it doesn't look too bad at first glance however there's more to it. This isn't a "good guy, bad guy" thing. People are getting harassed, receiving death threats, and being told to off themselves because of that blog. Another thing that should be pointed out is that some of the people on that list aren't even homophobic. If they took the time to actually read what they were trying to communicate, they'd know that. Some of those people made it very clear that they AREN'T saying that everyone in the LGBTQ are pedos, they're trying to communicate that every community has bad apples and the LGBTQ are not an exception. Another thing that should be known is that you cannot send folks death threats and say other horrible things expecting it to stop hate. That only fuels it. If you want to stop hate, you should be trying to communicate to those folks that you're the same flesh and blood as them. Hate does not solve hate.

Also another thing I'd like to say which is directed at EVERYONE, is to listen to each other's arguments, views. You'll understand each other a lot better if you actually listened to each other and you could solve your problems between each other in a more respectful manner.


EDIT: Alliance's list has been deleted, not the blog itself. I'll explain what I mean. They got rid of the list and wrote an apology to Syra. Things are pretty much fine from what I can tell now.
