rant about politics because I need to get something through to you people

I don't understand modern politics. everyone picks a side and agrees with everything that side says, and treats everybody with opposing opinions like hitler. and then they harass everybody on the opposing side until they cave in and join them. it's like a cult. and I'm not just talking about the left or the right, I'm talking about both sides. 

trying to reason with the left is like trying to reason with a toddler and trying to reason with the right is like trying to reason with your delusional aunt. just form opinions like people, please. go outside and live in reality. it doesn't even make sense that you guys are fighting so much because, at your cores, you all want the same thing, whether you wanna believe it or not. left wing, right wing, same bird. 

I'm not some mean, angry, stinky-winky conservative here to ruin all your fun, or some crazy rainbow-haired liberal here to educate you. you all genuinely need help and it's crazy seeing you all at each other's throats all the time when you really aren't that different.
