Abt the titan cus i like to share my opnions

so we all know abt the titan submarine that imploded and shit and how there was multiple extremally rich people in there and how they were warned by people that it would be incredibly dangerous and the actual submarine wasnt even checked by any professionals as well as the windows being made for only 1,500m or smth like that. But im going to be fully honest here when i say i did not care for these people. The team behind the sub were well aware that it had most likely imploded and instead of canceling a pointless search when these resources could of been spent on more important things if you think about it. For example a ship i think off the coast of greece sank with abt 200 people on it(probably including children and babies). The lives of these people probably could of been saved while 79 of them had died on a truly dangerous journey for a better life and were most likely fleeing some sort of conflict.

and this happened before the titan and it had little to no news coverage and i know its because no one cares about these people because in the end it probably wont affect them in the slightest whereas a news story about a couple of rich people disappearing while being in a shittly built ship controlled with a video game controller makes people invested. And i understand that most news stories are just going to the areas with the most public interest and i can understand that reasoning.

but i still find the lack of care and interest frankly disgusting. and idgaf about the fact that a 19yr old was on there. there could of been countless 19 year olds on that ship. and even more people who still had so much of a future in front of them.

i can understand why i might seem to be overly callous abt him but quite frankly in the scale of things he could of said no. he had a choice just like every other person on that ship and they all chose to go on there. i will be open to literally anyone talking to me about this if they want but i have my opinion and you have yours.

but yeah its just so dumb for people to just completely ignore this in favour of a stupid sub that imploded.
