learning to code

i am wanting to learn how to code. i have a basic understanding on html but i want to get to the other coding languages. i have signed myself up for a coding class but thats gonna be in another few months. I would like to just see how you guys learned to code and i would like to see if i can learn with these same ways. sdfg
