Recent anti trans events in Canada

A lot of people proclaim Canada as a safe haven for queer people. But recently that perception has been shattered. Dozens of anti trans protests and attacks have been happening all over Canada. With pride month coming up and the recent uptick in far right, christofash attacks on queer events, I don't feel safe at all.

Every drag event, every drag story time, every queer meetup has been invaded by disgusting Christian far right nationalists spewing bile and hatred at every direction. Support for which has been increasing online and in public. I fear for my friends safeties as well as my own.

It's horrible here and I want pride month to not only to be a month to be proud, but a month to bash back and fight for our right to live. Christian fash have no where to feel safe and they can fucking rot.
