Anxiety
Anxiety is the weight of the world placed on your heart, which is supposed to be as light as a feather. We allow the have and have nots to make life denser than what it originally tended to be, from a garden to a warden, imprisoned within your own mind, governed by a never mind. Indecisively choosing what to be, who said free will is free? Encased in a cage of engagement, jammed in drama, programmed by the days, we are tuned into being tuned out. Anxiety is avoidance, actively seeking not to see. Pressured by peers to walk so blindly, sought after by illusions, deluded in delusion. Anxiety is confusion… It’s the mucus in the music, it all comes with a catch. It’s the not knowing what you know, and the knowing nothing of what you believe. It’s in the he/she/them and those of us, we all perceive. It’s the ones who wears the heart on their sleeves, anxiety is you and me, a division of recognition between everything we represent. It’s the energy sent and the restlessness spent.
