Why do so many

Cis gays seem to assume that they are entirely safe from right wingers and their attacks on the trans part of the queer community? They need to realize that an attack on one part of the community is an attack on all parts of the community, and that right wingers will not stop at demonizing trans people. Once they have finished having their fun with trans people, they will turn around and start attacking the rest of the community. I will repeat that again: THEY WILL NOT STOP AT TRANS PEOPLE. Michael Knowles, the same guy who called for "transgenderism" to be "eradicated from public life entirely," recently reacted to Hayley Kiyoko's "Girls like Girls" video and sent a flood of hateful bigots to the comment section of that video. The very fact that he did this is proof of the fact that people like him and his followers could very easily choose to start attacking other parts of the LGBTQ+ community instead of just the trans community at any moment.

(Fellow trans/nb person here) I think they're afraid if they help fight they'll be targeted next? Like, they don't understand they'll be targeted either way or something. I think it's fear related.

Also, a lot of cis gays need to remember that we wouldn't have pride as we know it today without the contributions of trans people. Instead of fighting each other constantly, we need to learn from each other and stand together against ALL forms of anti-LGBTQ+ hate. Cis gays who actively spread anti-trans propaganda are doing nothing but feeding the mouths of those who seek to destroy us all.
