🌿Ingenia🌿
The Ingenia dinosaur species, also known as Ingenia yanshini, was a type of herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, around 135 million years ago. It is classified as a member of the Iguanodontia group, which were bipedal herbivores that lived during the Mesozoic era. The Ingenia species is known for its distinctive skull shape, which features a long, narrow snout and a toothless beak. This beak was likely used to strip vegetation from branches and leaves, making the Ingenia a specialized herbivore.
Fossils of the Ingenia species have been found in the Tugulu Group of China, and they suggest that these dinosaurs grew to be about 6 meters (20 feet) in length and weighed around 1,000 kg (2,200 lbs). They likely lived in herds, and their long, sturdy legs suggest that they were able to move quickly and efficiently through their environment. The discovery of the Ingenia species has contributed to our understanding of dinosaur diversity during the Early Cretaceous period and shed light on the complex evolutionary history of these fascinating creatures
