Gobekli Tepe is 11,600 Years Old. Klout Shmidt, an archaeologist who worked on Gobekli Tepe for 20 years, found 22,000 stone tools and concluded that the people who started Gobekli Tepe were hunter-gatherers but that it was also a center of innovation. He states that the people who built Gobekli Tepe also simultaneously invented Agriculture and were the first people to do so. Graham Hancock proposes, not that Aliens or non-humans or superpowers built Gobekli Tepe, but that the Hunter-Gatherers had a sort of “ transfer of wisdom “ or “transfer of technology.” which could have been from an earlier advanced and lost civilization. This is where skeptics try to write off Hancock and spin off what he says into woo-woo.

An extinction-level event known as - The Younger Dryas Impact, happened 11,600 years ago - 12,500 years ago. This is important because Gobekli Tepe was found to be purposefully buried.

Gobekli Tepe being 11,600 years old is ground-breaking. The mainstream paradigm was that civilization started 5,000 years ago in Ancient Sumer despite modern humans being around for 200,000 years. (*There is also Aboriginal Australian civilizations that can lead us to believe they were the oldest civilization but we will cover that in a future article.*)

With this new information, “ Human Civilization “ would have started at least 12,500 years ago with the culture we would credit the Sphinx & Gobekli Tepe to.

If it’s not the same culture, what even earlier culture could have influenced 2 different ancient cultures of hunter-gatherers to build megalithic structures so out of place in human history?

Is the culture that built Gobekli Tepe the oldest or were they informed/inspired?

Why was Gobekli Tepe buried on purpose?

If you read Article 1 then this will be a knowledge-builder. When mainstream Egyptologist, Zahi Hawass, was presented with the hypothesis that the Great Sphinx was 12,500 years old he laughed it off and said “ What people or culture was around at that time to have built it? How about the structures in between then and then? Show us one other structure that is comparable to the Sphinx that is also as old as you’re claiming it is. “

“ They could say that in the 90s but they can’t say that now “ as Graham Hancock stated in an interview with Joe Rogan where he breaks down how the interaction went.
