RESTRICT THE RESTRICT ACT

I made an article on my website talking about how the RESTRICT Act can, if passed, compromise the privacy of many Internet users in the United States. You can read more about it here:

This act has been dubbed the "Ban Tik Tok" bill. This is a misnomer, as the bill will ban and restrict MUCH MORE than just Tik Tok. Any content delivery service, application, game, and others could be examined if thought to violate this act. It will also allow LOBBYISTS to serve as advisors to whoever leads the investigations under this act. The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is also barred from accessing any information under this Act. This Act seeks to undermine the privacy of tens, of not hundreds of millions of American Internet users. All in the name of national security.
