Born Sleeping

There is a hole in my heart that can never be replaced
A sad, sad story has taken place

With light skin, dark hair and a soft smile on his face
A sleeping angel was born today

This angel took nothing not even a breath
Just gave away his gifts and left
As his father grieves next to the window
He looks up and to his surprise

Hes sees a rainbow shining bright
And know his son is by his side
His mother weeps and holds his body close
Never wanting to let it go

Her angel kisses her upon her cheek
And whispers to her I'll never leave
He is in our hearts and in our prayers
He is in our dreams, he is everywhere

While we grieve this loss and think of what's to come
This little angel's adventure has just begun
