Article 1: The Great Sphinx Water Erosion - 12,500 Years Ago

The standard Egyptologist will say the Great Sphinx was built in 2,500 BC (4,500 years ago) but one day, a standard Geologist came about and shook things up.

The main evidence that the Great Sphinx is at least 12,500 years old is; the water erosion at the Sphinx enclosure, first discovered by a French Mystic & Alternative Egyptologist - R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz.

Later rediscovered by Egyptologist, John Anthony West (JAW), who sought the opinion of a Geologist from Boston University, Robert Schoch. JAWs mission was to get a scientist to assess his theories after he published his book, Serpent In The Sky. The last time there was heavy water in Giza was after the Younger Dryas Impact, 12,700 years ago. JAW took Schoch to Giza where they concluded that there was indeed erosion caused by heavy precipitation (water).

The Great Sphinx was carved out of the Limestone of the Giza plateau and the blocks left over from the excavated trench were then used to make the Sphinx Valley Temple. In the Old Kingdom - 4,500 years ago, there is evidence of restoration. Why would they do restorations on the Pyramids and Sphinx immediately after building them? Could the construction going on at Giza in the Old Kingdom be the restoration of a much older ground plan?

Some researchers believe that the Sphinx and Pyramids are much older and there have been several restoration projects, “ including the massive one taking place 4,500 years ago. “ This is not a far-fetched belief considering the core body of the Sphinx is almost entirely covered by erosion making it rather difficult to date exactly.

The head of the Sphinx is a leading critique pointing that these structures are not 12,700 years old but proponents of the 12k Theory say it is because the Sphinx was originally the head of a Lion and was re-carved in dynastic times to resemble the head of a Pharaoh. Champion snow sculptor, Rob Neyland, who has 30 years of experience sculpting and using hand tools, proposed the idea in this Denver, Colorado 9News broadcast.

Another component that would add to this hypothesis is that; if the Great Sphinx was built 12,500 years ago, it would be facing its celestial partner in the sky - meaning that the Sphinx would be housed by and perfectly aligned to the constellation of Leo, the Lion, at dawn on the spring equinox in that time period.

The Egyptians were infatuated with the stars… Decide for yourself.

What else are we missing from this puzzle?
