Journal Entry #20: 03/13/23

So, I was actually going to post yesterday, but I accidentally navigated to another page and ended up losing my progress. I probably need to start typing these out in my notes first instead of just putting stuff onto a page.

I've actually had some trouble with being impatient and having outbursts over some ridiculous things lately. I've been playing this game called Cave Story (great game, you should play it). I've gotten to the Balfrog boss, and, well, I really suck. I already had trouble defeating Balrog already, but Balfrog is for the most part invincible. I really need to work on my dodging skills, then.

As for this week, as I said, it's Spring Break for me. I have some AP work to do along with my online classwork, which the class it's for doesn't break until the last week of March (when I'm back in school, again of course). 

Tomorrow, I have a hair appointment, and on Thursday and Friday, I'm going to be touring a university. Other than that, I'm having a staycation. This surprisingly doesn't bother me since I kinda felt miserable during last year's Spring Break vacation.

Yesterday, my dad gave me a bracket for March Madness because a couple colleges I applied to are competing. I'm probably just going to use the bracket as a way to keep up with the tournament because I don't have much college basketball knowledge and therefore can't make a good educated guess. I hope to watch some of the games though.

Oh, and I've been trying to make a cute blog layout for all of my entries. The problem is, I can't seem to get the fonts to work. I have a font for the header, and I want the diary body to be in another font. The header font is working, but the rest of the text is stuck on some default font and not the one I want. If I can fix this (or if I just give up and keep it that way), I'll put the new look on all of my blog posts.
