Ahhhh!!!! I've been so antsy and full of energy these past couple of days. It seems like the illness I was experiencing for a month is finally all cleared up. You know, I got covid at the beginning of February, and while it only lasted ten days, I think it was messing with my head for a lot longer than that. Of course there was another, uh, hospital mistake that happened and it made me extremely sick.
But I'm so relieved to finally feel stable and okay now. I spent the day outside in the sun, watching the sky, and I spoke with the regional flight surgeon. He told me that the FAA is waaaaay backed up with their forms, which is why I still haven't gotten a response yet.
Anyways, I just hope I still have this same amount of energy for the weekend. I just want to get up into the air again, I miss it SO SO MUCH! I wish I could film my flight lessons. On Sunday I'm going to do stalls.
(...which is, pretty much, flying up til the plane can't gain lift anymore and results in you falling a bit before you fix it. Er.... A bit nervous about that one, only because I don't want to accidentally start spin diving--)
But tomorrow is of course the helicopter day I've been waiting forever for. I was supposed to go around my birthday, but it actually snowed, and plus, I was feeling really unwell.
There were a lot of birds out today too, which is always a nice treat. There was even a hawk, or an eagle, that flew pretty low and was making this funny squeaking sound. I like watching them fly and dive around in the sky, they always look like they're having so much fun.
