I've decided that I'd like to blog about the books I read, giving my thoughts on them chapter by chapter. I've already done a mini book "review" on here about the book I read for January, but from here on, it'd be nice to have somewhere to jot down my thoughts and feelings as I go along. I'm still going to do overall end reviews as well, but I think these chapter reviews are going to be a little more detailed and spoiler-heavy, since my brain sort of... mashes everything together by the end into one big, general vibe, if that makes sense.
The first book I'm going to do this with will be Interview with the Vampire, by Anne Rice. This is the book I'm reading for the mini book club that my fiancé, his sister, and I are doing together. I finished the first chapter a bit ago, but we just had our first discussion of it last night, so it's still fresh in my mind. I'm going to talk about it in a separate blog post, though. I didn't want to merge my review with this preface, for fear of the post being too long, less organized, and painful to look at-
I'll also be starting this with The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System volume 3, by Mò Xiāng Tóng Xiù soon. I've got less than 50 pages left of volume 2! I have... a lot of feelings, but we'll get to that later.
I'm very much looking forward to writing and reading more. I hope those of you who have already read the books I'm going to be reading follow along with me, and give your own input on these chapters! I love seeing different perspectives, and having extra tidbits pointed out to me that I may have missed.
Thank you for reading this little preface. I wish you a pleasant day, and happy reading! 🌷
