I hate the way the internet looks now. Everything is so clean and simplistic, and it just all looks so sterile. It's all too sleek, too professional, and devoid of any sense of personality. In example, Facebook and Twitter are just different flavors of the same idea.
Additonally, everything is subscription based. I can't even look up the solution to a math problem or play a game on my fucking Alexa without being prompted to subscribe to some $5/month bullshit.
It's all stupid. I don't like it. I am sick of shallow, subscription based products and features. I'm sick of Quora Plus, Meta charging $14/month for a little blue checkmark, and even Twitter doing it too.
I understand that the cost of running a digital platform is high. Especially when ad revenue runs thin in comparison to the cost of running such a large scale service, but I still don't like it.
