Starsky and Hutch fans??

I’m so curious… are there any Starsky and Hutch fans anywhere on this site???? Tumblr is the only place I’ve seen a fandom for S&H but this site?? Idk. If you don’t know what Starsky and Hutch is, it’s this TV show from the seventies about 2 cops/detectives and the cases they try to solve. The main focus of the show is the relationship between them, though. Which borders on romantic, if I’m being totally honest. I like to headcanon that Hutch has an unresolved crush on Starsky, that Starsky is oblivious to. Hutch is probably gay and I imagine that Starsky is bisexual. Huggy Bear is their friend who they get street-smart information from. They wouldn’t solve any fucking cases if Huggy wasn’t there to feed them the info they need. And Captain Dobey is their boss. He’s unfortunately the butt of many outdated and offensive fat jokes. But he’s a great character! He’s stern, he’s their boss, but he cares about Starsky and Hutch and frequently labels them as his best men on the force.

The show is weird when it comes to women, same goes for any fucking show from the 70s, but that just fuels my gay headcanons even more. S&H’s relationships either end in a sad breakup under weirdly unexplained circumstances, or the death of a girl. But the one relationship that never breaks? Starsky and Hutch’s relationship >:] the end of season 4 is a wild gay ride. The episodes “Targets Without A Badge” (all 3 parts), “Starsky Vs. Hutch” and “Sweet Revenge” are THE GAYEST episodes of the series. And I don’t throw that word around lightly. I wouldn’t call it gay if it wasn't. The actors of the characters have spoken about the homoeroticism in this show. And they embrace it! They respect that perspective and have validated it a few times… soo….. yeah.
