I was just born here.
I get it. I’m supposed to be more patriotic than anything, but.. I don’t agree with all the moves American Presidents and the American Government has made and continues to make. I can only have faith that things will even out and everyone will win.
There’s no pride.
I lack pride. Look at the constant discoveries fellow Americans find on a daily basis. No wonder people fought so hard and long for Freedom of the Press, but why was that a thing anyway? Even now, the “elites” have found a way to buy it out and they control the tone. I can speak all day on the ways American systems have misled its “Trustees of Reservations”. Oh, wait, there’s American land and artifacts millions living here and following laws and regulations don’t know about and will probably never know about. There’s history that has been removed and edited and sacred story tellers coerced into telling other versions.
It’s devastating to go from an innocent little girl born in the United States of America to Puerto Rican and Dominican parents whose parents worked so hard to get them to The States, to becoming an adult who cannot put together for the world, why the Pharmaceutical companies coming out of the United States of America continues to poison and misinform the general public about its health risk, concerns and reality. But trust me, I don’t have trust issues. THAT WOULD MAKE ME MENTALLY INSTABLE.
so, i’m american, but..
Well, thanks for reading my rant. I’m sure they’ll get better w time.
Stay Hydrated,
Mia.
