Music Surveys and Reasonings in Rambles

Testing a new layout, decided to do this for the funsies. 

1. favorite song of all time?

- Of all time? Very hard one to answer, but I think if I had to pick ONE like one song that is my absolute favorite, it’d be Kunst or Godlike. Awesome songs, live laugh love KMFDM.

2. current song you’ve had on repeat?

- Theres two. 1. My Friends Over You by New Found Glory. It was a song on my old emo playlist from middle school, and since I won’t be listing it as #4 , because it wasn’t, I’ll include it here. and 2. Screwing You On The Beach at Night by Bloodhound Gang. it just kinda stuck in my brain recently.

3. song you’re listening to right now?

- Music from a CD I'm gatekeeping. Sorry not sorry. It legit has no audience and I'm scared to tell people. Found it at a thrift store, and its this bands only album. Its my new personality.  

4. favorite song in middle school?

- Middle school was... what 6-7 years ago? As If I remember the like.. ACTUAL favorite song but If I had to guess? It was one of these three ; Time To Dance (Panic! At The Disco) , It's Not a Fashion Statement, It's a Deathwish (My Chemical Romance) or Never Wanted To Dance (Mindless Self Indulgence). I had to listen to all these on Soundcloud bc I wasn't allowed to have Spotify. 

5. favorite song as a kid?

- Another one that was a really long time ago, so I don't quite remember, but guessing by how I used to be? I had a couple ; Last Friday Night/T.G.I.F (Katy Perry) , What You Know (Two Door Cinema Club) , 20 Percent Cooler (Ken Ashcorp.. Bc i was a mlp kid) , CrushCrushCrush (Paramore), Miss Jackson (Panic! At The Disco)... Basically?? Whatever you'd see in those anime music videos or PMVS or those cartoon slideshow videos. OR whatever was playing in the background of a PPG speedpaint. 

6. song you think is underrated?

- I think most of the songs i listen to have audiences, and people who like them so not quite underrated, but if I had to say one that I like, that many people don't talk about , it'd be Luna by The Smashing Pumpkins. 

7. song you think is overrated?

- Overrated? Out of songs I personally like? Misery Business by Paramore ; the album it’s on has SUCH good songs, and it’s a shame that people only know that song from it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a great song, but I wish people listened to the whole album instead of that one song. 

8. favorite lyrics?

- This is a joke, but “Having Dinner by the pool with the D.E.A , run you over with my Aztek; GTA.” from the uhhh Rick Grimes vs Walter White. It reminds me of a joke between Clyde and I, that we started once it had become just the two of us so it’s my favorite. Will never stop making me laugh. Therefor? My favorite.

9. lyrics that you relate to? 

- “ I won’t kill myself trying to stay in your life” ; No Distance Left to Run By Blur ; Very corny I know. It just has this certain sting to it. 

10. lyrics that make you sad?

- Guys this is really emotional…. “ La jiggy jar jar doo. “ by… THE Carl Poppa :broken_heart: okay just kidding uhhh … No set lyrics make me sad, it’s usually the whole song, or thoughts that go along with it. So unfortunately I don’t think I can answer this one. 

11. song you’ve always loved?

   - Probably like.. Dirthouse by Static-X. It makes me want to dance. Lol. 

12. song by one of your favorite artists?

- Thunderkiss ‘65 by White Zombie. gawd I love this song. Even the REMIXES are good. 

13. song that makes you sad (replaced a question with this)

- How to Disappear Completely by Radiohead ; I actually cry to this song every single time it comes on , and it’s like not because it reminds me of something sad, it’s a beautiful song, it just makes the tears come out. 

14. song you found from a trend but really like?

- Not quite a trend but a video ; To Another Galaxy by Tokyo Ghetto Pussy. It was a video of someone showing off the record they found at a thrift store, and i was WAAY into it. The art, the music, basically everything. 

15. song you knew before it was cool? (or one that you don’t want to blow up)

- Aside from my new music I found, I'd say Sit on Acid by Lords Of Acid. I’m TERRIFIED of lords of acid showing up on tik tok or some shit because I know if it does, they’re gonna get real mad at the song Young Boys and it’ll be one of those “YOU CANT LISTEN TO THEM!!” Situations. 

16. song in a genre you don’t normally listen to?

- I’m not really into country but I LOVE Dolly Parton? Here you come again for SURE. I will always love Dolly Parton. 

17. song in your favorite genre?

- Genius by Pitchshifter. Easy. 

18. song you associate with a good memory?

- Zombie by the Cranberries. My mom was a really big fan of them back in highschool, and so growing up she usually had a CD of this specific album in her car. A lot of late night car rides where I’d fall asleep to this song. The Cranberries will always hold a special place in my heart because of that. Simpler times I think. I may have little fights with my family here and there, but I would do anything to see them happy, even if it feels like they are out to get me sometimes. 

19. song you associate with a bad memory?

- Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit. Ex friend, with terrible shitty taste in music. Limp Bizkit in general leaves a very sour nasty taste in my mouth because of them 

20. song you’ve heard live?

- LIVING DEAD GIRL BY ROB ZOMBIE <33333 - MY FAV SONG FOR A GOOD WHILE OMG.

21. song you need to hear live?

- Anything KMFDM. I’m being so deadass, I think if I don’t get to see them I’ll DIE. 

22. song from one of your favorite albums

- Synthetic by Spineshank; I have a promo album for this , and it makes me very happy so one of my favs. 

23. song that just means a lot to you?

- I Melt with you by Modern English ; I was going to put it under “good memory” but I think it deserves this spot more. This song will always mean so much to me, because it reminds me of my best friend Clyde. He will always mean the world to me, and this will forever be our song :heart: I don’t know where my life would be right now without him, so anytime I miss him, I just lay in bed and listen to this song. It’s usually why I put myself on offline , just so I don’t embarrass myself or seem too sappy with that.
