wait i'm back + long-ass cypher theory

Wait, I'm back? The holidays made me completely forget I made this lmao. Hello if anyone's out there. If not, then greetings to the void, much care to you too, you empty abyss.

Anyways, I'm here just to dump a theory I have about Cypher. I think the individual we see on the battlefield and in Protocol HQ from the cinematics isn't the person Cypher but rather a remotely controlled android. 

First, here's the things that we know:
-his tech seems to be magnetic, possibly using radianite for a lack of wires (think of how he recalls all his util, it's pretty consistent and sure looks like how well-developed magnets might work)
-no one or very few have seen his face, especially without it by his choice
-he can be wounded (he was downed in the Retake cinematic, and although he didn't bleed, neither did Viper, as it was a stylistic/rating-conscious choice)
-his eyes are either non-human or covered in a film/other tech that he can see through but others cannot
-robots that are able to cross terrain, wield weapons, etc. 100% exist, because, well, Kay/O does
-robots can also be healed by Sage, as again, Kay/O can be as well
-Cypher's known to be extremely tech savvy
-Cypher as we see him has never consumed food/liquid, nor have a room to sleep/relax in
-Cypher as we see him has shown no skin
-Cypher's util is pulled from his coat

Alright, so with all of that, I know I still look insane. Even so, I think it's possible that Cypher, with an identical build to his droid, is controlling a bot from Morocco. This way, he will never be wounded so that a) the mask over his real face will never be damaged/removed b) he will remain alive for his family if they are as well or never feel the same injuries as them c) and/or simply never feel pain when he doesn't need to.

This would explain why his tech is magnetic or similar, something that may be controlled remotely as he is not a radiant. It gives a reason for the film over his eyes too. No one can see his human eyes, because he is not present. True, this may be simply advanced tech, but still counts a couple points to this theory. 

This would also explain that, despite the fact that he can be wounded, no blood has been seen and no one has seen his face without his consent. Imagine he is shot while on the battlefield. His mask would be torn, possibly badly enough to expose him.

This would also explain how Cypher's tech is pulled simply from his coat. Many of the other agents who are not radiant have their util on belts (think of Brim's molly, Sova's bow and drone, etc.), but Cypher's tech is never shown outside his coat. In fact, the way he pulls his abilities seems the most similar to Kay/O, who simply pulls util from his own metal body (his flash pops from his forearm, as does his molly). This only becomes a stronger point when one realizes that Cypher is known to either collaborate or work near Killjoy, who invented Kay/O, as he asks her for a tool in in-game voicelines.

Any other points are mostly self-explanatory, like the fact that an android is completely possible in this world, and that Cypher is never seen shown any skin. He is also never shown to have a room to sleep in. Although, to the game's credit, no one other than Neon is seen with one if I remember correctly.

Anyway.

I think it's possible. 

The only thing that puzzles me is Cypher's Home Again card. In it, Cypher is shown to be holding a glass of tea, and based on the name of the banner, is likely in Morocco, still in his no-skin-showing, eyes-covered-in-film get-up. This is the one thing that roadblocks this theory to me.

Who knows.

I don't.
