not ur safe space !!

idk exactly how to put this into words but when this site first started the community was sooo tiny and it was p easy to ignore or avoid seeing ppl bitch abt queer ppl every other post but lately there seems to be this weird fucking shift where theres a mix of straight up bigots and like people who are covertly transphobic/terfs tryin to pass off their very very harmful idealoly as just "difference of opinion" and im mostly talking abt the grown ass adults who hold these views.

if ur a high schooler who's bitching abt 'woke' ppl it can be chalked up to age bc we were all once 14 and stupid as fuck but goddamn seeing ppl OLDER THAN me get on here and complain abt how they fear abt their kids potentially becoming trans is almost laughable if it wasnt so fucking bleak. a lot of u straight up hate queer ppl, specifically trans ppl. and complaints abt general "wokeness" just reveals more abt urself than the ppl ur complaining abt. a lot of u are essentially complaining that ppl who previously were afraid (or silenced) get a chance to air out their grievances and be their authentic selves in their internet corners.

i literally only see these complaints towards queer/trans ppl...i dont even see racism on here as much as i see blatant transphobia. what is up w u guys seriously.

a part of me feels like a lot of ppl came to this site thinking it would be a free for all wild west site where u could essentially hold whatever shitty opinion/ideology u have and have no one disagree with it, then got surprised when they realize the same marginalized ppl they wanted to complain abt are also using the site to get away from the bigotry in other online spaces lmfaooo

ppl will complain abt dog piling on someone and callout posts on here as if mfers cant just log out and do something irl instead of being a piece of shit on the web. maybe u can not say inflammatory things and ppl wouldnt react,...what a concept.
